Thomas Hardye School
The Thomas Hardye School is a 13 - 18 mixed Voluntary Aided School with over 2000 on roll including 700 in the Sixth Form. The School is significantly over subscribed and recently completed another major building programme and this has resulted in exceptional facilities in all subject areas. Maiden Castle is the largest and most complex Iron Age hill fort in Britain. The castle was first laid out in 600BC over the remains of a Neolithic settlement. During the following centuries the hill fort was extended and additional defences thrown up around it.
