Since 1980 Andrew Wadsworth and Robert Ackland, partners in Waterhouse, have been responsible for a number of creative urban regeneration projects.
Waterhouse is based on board The Harpy, an Edwardian Customs & Excise pontoon near Tower Bridge, London and also in Dorchester, Dorset.
Their first projects were in London’s Docklands; the restoration and conversion of listed Victorian warehouses and innovative contemporary buildings were the catalyst for large scale regeneration which followed.
Waterhouse applied the same pioneering principles in Glasgow in the late 1990’s as they have at Brewery Square.
